Certain experiences in nature raised the hair on the back of my neck, evoking feelings of fascination, mystery, and beauty all at the same time. Each one of the experiences described in this book stirred my soul and tapped into the emotional side of my being. Whether it’s the northern lights filling the entire sky or a tiny brightly colored butterfly, nature continues to pull me into its mysteries like a magnet and has become an addictive force in my life. Being in the woods, fields, and mountains saturates my senses, often making me feel like I’m in the middle of an enchanting fairy tale. Explorations in nature fuel my passion for life and provide me with a greater purpose. It has the potential to provide everyone with a continuous search for beauty, solitude, and mystery.
